We get it! The cost of quality rental management can seem high, with many intangible expenses. Plus, the majority of investors have usually experienced sub-standard service from a rental manager at some stage.
Although it seems fairly simple, Property Management can be a very complicated area – and there are some very strict laws, with large penalties attached for breaches. Make the wrong decision, despite your good intentions and it could end up costing you thousands of dollars.
Some landlord insurance policies also stipulate that the property must be managed by a licenced rental manager – check the fine print!
We do not currently provide property management services at Prospa Property Advisory. Instead we always recommend that our investors engage a licenced, fully trained and experienced rental manager to look manage our client’s investment properties. In our experience, the benefits of professional property management far outweigh the potential costs.
